RGB COLOR MATCH

Do you know that mixing red and green light you get yellow ?

It is not an intuitive fact because if you mix red and green pencils you get brown.

"Additive color mixing" as in light, is different from "subtractive color mixing" as with pencils or paint.

With this app you can mix the 3 primary colors Red, Green and Blue (RGB) to obtain 1 million different colors

Slide the three bars up and down to see the result. It´s easy to get Yellow , Magenta, Cyan and White as in the diagram (in fact when achieved the name of the color is displayed)

Then try to get orange, purple, gray, brown, violet, pink, etc.

Once you are familiar with the process you can tap "Ready" and then try to reach the random color generated on top until the word "MATCH" appears.

It is not easy on the first time. If after some attempts you can´t match the color you can tap the word "Help" to get a number indicating the deviation from the target color. The lower the number you get, the closer you are.

You can get another random color taping on "Color to Match" .

Look your smartphone or tablet screen with a small microscope and you will find that the image is formed by small dots or rectangles of these 3 colors RGB
